| Katherine L. Poehnert, owner of InSight Services Coaching and Training, is a professionally certified executive coach, focusing her individual client market on helping corporate leaders, particularly women, access success by supporting them in clarifying professional goals, aligning values with decisions, obeying instincts, and fostering real conversations. Katherine’s corporate training market focuses on leadership development programs using the tools of Emotional Intelligence Assessment (including 360° feedback), group training, and follow-up coaching. She is a certified consultant with Genos® Emotional Intelligence; a global, cutting-edge leader in the assessment and development of Emotional Intelligence in the workplace.
Katherine’s corporate clients include AT&T, Liz Claiborne, Donna Karan, Prudential, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and Primerica Financial Services, and she has coached women in management positions at Borders Books, Liz Claiborne, Prudential, and PSEG. She is also an accredited executive coach with Deloitte and Touche LLP.
Ms. Poehnert holds a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology, and received a double certification in coaching in 2002 from iPEC Coaching, and The Institute for Holistic Studies. She is also certified in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), which is the study of and skills for attaining human excellence, and incorporates this into her coaching and training. She also has a strong background and training in Family and Parenting issues and brings this to her holistic approach to coaching.
Ms. Poehnert spent five years as a corporate seminar presenter for Ceridian Performance Partners; serving many Fortune 500 Companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Kraft, Merck, and Chase Manhattan. She has designed dozens of workshops, courses, trainings, teleclasses and keynotes, and is currently serving as a lead coach trainer and teleclass instructor for iPEC Coaching; an international Coach Training Institute accredited by the International Coaching Federation, serving in their New York City, New England, and New Jersey locations. Ms. Poehnert has leveraged her expertise and knowledge in the public speaking arena, to develop a comprehensive program to teach the skills of researching, designing and presenting in a powerful and influential manner., and enjoys coaching leaders who want to sharpen their skill set in this area.

Cynthia has broad-based experience in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and her clients have
included start-up companies as well as global pharmaceutical corporations. Cynthia has been working
in the life sciences industry since 1992. She spent four years as a medicinal chemist at Wyeth
Research, gaining expertise in drug discovery in multiple therapeutic areas. Cynthia then successfully
transitioned to the executive search industry and held positions in the life sciences practices of both
large and boutique search firms. She formed her own company in 2000 and has assisted clients with
executive coaching, retained recruiting, regulatory affairs team building, and HR consulting projects.
Cynthia is a Certified Empowerment Coach and is a trained administrator of the Genos® Emotional
Intelligence (EI) Assessment and the Platinum Rule® Behavioral Style Assessment. She earned her
Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) in 2002.
Cynthia earned a BS degree in Chemistry from Canisius College and an MS degree in Chemistry
from Princeton University. She completed the course work for a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry as an
AFPE Fellow at SUNY Buffalo. She has completed course work in psychology and has received
formal training in executive coaching, facilitation, and leadership transitions. Cynthia is a graduate of
IPEC Coaching, a world-renowned coach training institute accredited by the International Coach
Federation (ICF).

CAROL VINELLI, a Certified Empowerment Coach, brings over 30 years of business successes to her newest entrepreneurial endeavor, Professional Coaching Services. Her resourceful roll up your sleeves, get it done attitude, has spirited her through three exciting and diverse start-up ventures.
Her multi-leveled interests and love of adventure were strong motivators in her efforts in San Paulo, Brazil, where she established two new businesses simultaneously. Vinelli designed a conversation skills course for Brazilian business men, in private companies, which became an instant success. Her one-person business mushroomed into a 50 person firm in less than a year. Concurrently, Carol’s passion for local art led her to establish a consulting service for young artists. She acted as a mentor and coach, teaching self confidence and marketing skills, to many who never believed they could earn their living pursuing their passion. Vinelli’s successes came despite the challenges of a different language and culture.
Upon returning from Brazil, Carol earned her MBA while working part time in her own business, as a corporate art consultant. Upon graduating, she received an offer from one of her clients to join them in a start-up operation, as head of business development for a contract furniture firm. Vinelli’s highly developed skills in business analysis, marketing, and communications helped the company recognize over $70 million in sales in an eight year period.
Throughout her career Carol was instrumental in motivating others to be confident in their own abilities and to take risks which challenged their comfort zones. She taught many young designers and architects how to expand their businesses and become more profitable. Her keen insight into human nature allowed her to assist others in discovering their hidden talents. The cognitive awareness that Vinelli brought to others empowered them to be their best. With her gentle guidance she helped others change their lives and live their dreams.
It was at the suggestion of her son that she enrolled in an empowerment coaching program. His astute observation that she has been an amazing mentor to those around her throughout her career, led her to acknowledge what she instinctively knew.
A graduate of iPEC’s ( Institute of Professional Empowerment Coaching) rigorous training program, she was also trained in EI (emotional intelligence). Vinelli quickly built a clientele of corporate business executives, attorneys, and independent entrepreneurs who hired her to help them bring clarity to areas that were preventing them from achieving the successes they envisioned for themselves.
She draws on the wealth of experience she has had as a resourceful entrepreneur. Coupled with her coaching education she has what it takes to help her clients clarify their focus, declare their intent, set goals, and implement an action plan.
Vinelli earned her BA at NYU where she double majored in Psychology and History. She received her MBA degree from Rutgers University where the emphasis of her studies was on marketing and finance. Additionally, she holds a Coaching Certification from Institute for Empowerment Coaching (iPEC), is trained in Emotional Intelligence through iPEC, and is a member of the International Coaching Federation.
