OVERVIEW

This program is a comprehensive approach to parenting; designed to help participants examine and change counter-productive beliefs which negatively affect parenting behavior, and family stress levels. By looking at beliefs and perceptions about such issues as power/control, discipline, and anger, parents can recognize how to change negative patterns of behavior into more positive ones.

Participants will learn how to:

Understand behavior
Manage anger
Communicate effectively
Use positive discipline
Avoid power struggles
